Collaborative SIETAR Webinar « Stepping out the discontinuity models: international mobility as a trajectory » with Gionas Chiovetto

Date/Horaire
01/04/2025
18 h 00 - 19 h 00 Europe/Paris

This webinar explores international mobility as a continuous transformative trajectory. Moving beyond the traditional view of mobility as a series of sequenced and isolated phases, we will explore how the experience of mobility-related moments is unique to each individual and intertwined, but not reducible to classical cultural narratives. The aim is to experience a shift in perspective, looking at the complexity and the individual and psychological component within and across what we call cultures.

Clinical and community psychologist, Gionas Chiovetto is an expert in psychological processes related to international mobility, migration and intercultural adaptation. Currently active in research and development of projects and initiatives in the social and community field with Italian people in mobility trajectories. He is also involved in the dissemination of science, DEIB+ and the implementation of digital literacy and innovation processes for the psychological profession and organisational development. He is co-author of ‘Trajectories. A psychological guide to expatriation’.
