This webinar discusses the (under)(mis)representation of African knowledges in how we understand and practice intercultural communication. We will explore how diverse African knowledges and « ways of knowing » offer powerful, original tools to rethink the field, moving beyond dominant Western-centric models. By foregrounding these perspectives, we engage in a critical and decolonial project that is not just about inclusion, but about epistemic justice and theoretical renewal. The session will demonstrate how African philosophical insights provide a power-literate and transformative approach to intercultural theory and practice. This is an essential discussion for scholars, students, coaches, and trainers committed to decolonising their understanding of interculturality »
